Not quite 3 months for me, 30 days or so (28th nov) when my pc mobo died. I'm now using a spare but i7-4790 with a gtx 740 (2gb) in it. Not great, but currently playing some old games to keep me going. How times have changed.
When you say loose, can you explain more? As SpyderTracks says, can't you just push it into the socket on the monitor? or is the wire loose at the plug end and you don't know how to wire a plug?
Are you sure it's the "power" cable. Looking at the cables image below, the top left one is the...
I don't use EGS, but read about this "undocumented feature" lets say, Has anyone reported on what it was doing. I read it was transferring data. If it happens next time, I suggest you install "WireShark" to look at the network traffic.

Agree, I really don't think it is them, they have been going a long time (2003+) and have a good rep. So many components inside each component it could be anything, simple motor issue on the cpu fan for example. it happens. 20+ years ago I used to build them, but was simpler times back then, so...
Sorry to hear this, hopefully you will get a report back of what the actual issue was when you get the machine back. If it was me I would personally would like to know what the issue was.
I do seem to see a lot of forum topics with issues with new builds recently, I'm just hoping this is a very...
I'm sure the miners / scalpers make enough money to still buy them and use / resell them and still make money. It's a pity they do, because these are "gamers" cards and takes the fun away from our entertainment. Like you I wish I had the money to burn, but I don't
I thought this would be the...
That is the internal speaker, where the beeps come out of when you have MoBo POST Issues.

I just did as well, as I'm going to have the same cooler in my build when it finally comes, it did mention a SATA cable as well. Other than that, I'm not sure.
running at 60'c at idle isn't good though :(
It might be me, and my old 8 year AIO cooler, but a USB on a cooler -- is that right? Mine isn't fancy it's just got a fan 4 pin attachment on it, though it is 8 years old.
I really wish there was a way to see if the actual blades inside were working without taking it apart. that is one bonus...
Hi all,
I've watched a couple of YT videos recently about GPU prices all going up (I'm sure some of you have too). So it got me wondering because of the current stock situation. End of Nov 2020 I ordered a new build from PCS which includes a 5900x and a 3080. Like many of you I'm waiting for...
First, thanks for the update @Ghosthud, much appreciated.
I too was wondering the above, as I ordered 5900x and a 3080 end of Nov when my gaming pc died, It makes sense to do orders where the order is just one of those items, but that can lead to my order being well delayed because the 5900x...
Yes, I do know you can create your own private group too, also in a group with a couple of friends as well, but mostly I just play solo due to different timezones / play times.
"Early 2021" is all we know for now, but they will be alpha testing before then (but don't think for everyone). If I get my new PC by then I'll certainly be in the alpha testing to try it out.
You can play the game in "Open" which means pvp as well as pvp, or play it solo, they are also...
Same 2 drives I'm getting in my new system too... use the 500gb for windows, and the bigger one for games. I'm also getting a separate SSD drive to use for my docs, images, videos, game mods etc - to keep them away from my "game drive".
As you say, if you need to reinstall windows, it won't...
