There are no branded air coolers, or any other lesser coolers that I would recommend. Prone to issues is a thing of the past or a branding issue. Never known of any outlying issues with any of the Corsair coolers. Even lesser ones such as the coolermasters have had good success. These statements...
With the understanding that the gaming will be very light (no AAA titles or anything like that) and general office use, I would probably pull things right back to the below. There are a number of quality of life improvements still in place and it's a fully modernised system.
Oh, I included a...
I think you're misunderstanding. I meant sell your PC as a whole, as the only thing you would use in a new build would be the case, so it's not worthwhile.
Better to sell what you have and start from scratch.
Haha, that's all fine. You would be surprised with the changes that we see all to save a couple of £ that throws things out or creates a bottleneck.
Shouldn't be long to wait at all then. Once the parts are in they tend to be quite quick and putting it all together :)
What were the modifications? You should note that I balanced the spec so making changes without understanding their impact fully may put it out of whack.
If you have £1500 considered, I would look to sell your current pc to bump up the available budget and just get new. You're literally only going to be taking the case with you. Even the drives are out dated, maybe keep one for storage but other than that it's the best way to get value.
£2300 is spot on, you can cover every need within that. The case that I've selected is a little smaller than I would like. It may be worth considering the Fractal North as an alternative though. It's a little bigger but it comes with a really nice aesthetic that would look good in a livingroom...
Oh no apologies, I wasn't meaning that what you had shared wasn't enough. The sticking point for me was the form factor. I understand your reasoning and thinking on it, it was more a case of understanding if it was a firm requirement. If it's just a want we would steer you towards a smaller but...
7800X3D won't fit in the B550 so unsure why that's being recommended. The 5800X3D is the maximum gaming potential the board has.
If going to the expense of the 7800X3D, Motherboard, RAM and GPU, it's better to sell your current system and buy new, far better value overall.
The 5800X3D paired...
It wasn't the end of the advice. If you share your thoughts we can suggest a full configuration that will be better suited. Just need to know all the jigsaw pieces before taking the time to do so :)
Is SFF an important consideration? I get that it'll be connected to the TV but for a 4k gaming machine you're going to need a lot of cooling potential, something that SFF systems inherently lack.
You've also landed on a 4070 Super, this is a 1440p card, rather than 4k. It's not going to be...
I wish they would have more faith in R-rated as well but unfortunately it's a business, and a cut throat one at that, they can't typically take the risks.
The advertising and promotion for this movie was absolutely wild, like nothing I had seen before. I couldn't click anything online without...
I would try reseating the RAM along with the GPU and check all power cables. It's more than likely something has dislodged in transit.
Last thing you want to have to do is send it back.
Just as a triple check, I would try it on the TV via HDMI.
I've been waiting on the Index 2 for so long now. The OLED screen in the PSVR2 headset, along with some of it's other QOL features really draw me in.
The one down side that I've been reading is the lack of Bluetooth for the controllers. That seems like a proper oversight to me.
I think something may have been a little off with your list vs your link. I think you wanted 2 4k displays before? The list only shows 1. Looks like the bottom maybe got cut off? Don't want the Norton and the £5 warranty is a no brainer:
Case
ASUS ProArt PA602 E-ATX CASE
Processor (CPU)
AMD...
It's all a bit of a damp squib in honesty.
Noone on Zen4 should be upgrading at all. With Zen3, there's definitely an argument that it's worth upgrading..... but it's an expensive upgrade. Would you recommend Zen5 over Zen3 for an upgrade though? It's time for people to grab a bit of a bargain...
