All my laptops have been on a Clevo chassis.
There should be no downside to installing in safe graphic mode. Unless you get any obvious GPU problems it is better to stay on the X.org driver as things seem to run better with it.
In the past, at least three years, there were a couple of issues...
This is only really worth it if you have a few old drives but I have a USB caddy which will take a variety of drives, just plug in whichever is needed.
A couple are very old and small laptop drives, 32 GB. Not normally a lot of use but I double back up everything and have a load of Office...
I have installed Ubuntu on a variety of PCS machines but not on the Elima or a TongFang chassis but do not think the model shoud matter, it should be ok with the components in it.
From recent experiences it is best to install in safe graphics mode and stay with the Nouveau drivers, on most...
Sure you did this but is it exactly the same type of memory. If not that could be the issue.
If you are able to return the new memory you have it may be worth checking the upgrade section on your account, that will only offer stuff which will work on your machine.
Have you tried running it with just two RAM sticks in, there have been issues with AMD and four RAM sticks.
Not sure whether it has been solved yet but there are other threads on the forum about it.
Always difficult buying "foreign" food and drink, remember seeing a can of lager with a European sounding name with the Nordic Ø in the name. On close inspection it was brewed in Blackburn.
If you ever feel like causing a major argument, go to Hamburg and suggest Currywurst originated in Berlin, or vice versa, both are adamant it was started in their city. Berlin now has a Currywurst museum, not been yet.
I have had a Currywurst with hot ketchup, then curry powder sprinkled over...

Chefkoch.de is a great site, that recipe uses Bratwurst and they are probably the best for Currywurst, although I like it with Käsekrainer and if you want a less chewy Wurst it is quite nice with Wiener (what we...
I am getting more and more tempted to get another cat and those two are certainly swinging the vote in the feline favour.
Having seen Grudge on Star Trek Discovery am seriously considering one of those. Despite being the largest domestic breed they are also one of the most placid.
If I can ever get back to Germany I look forward to a proper German breakfast buffet, lovely breads, plus various meats, cheeses, plus eggs however you want them cooked. In Vienna you can also get a raw egg in a glass, never been brave enough to try.
PCS have an open case policy so it is ok to work on the machine as long as you are careful.
Interesting about the drivers, although I have not been using the Nvidia ones lately as there have been problems and the Nouveau drivers are fine.
One of the great tragedies of our town was to see a building society appear where the "famous" Tuck's cafe had been.
They did an amazing breakfast, a real old fashioned place which would be shut down today, often the waitress would have a fag hanging out her mouth as she delivered a plate of...
Hopefully someone will suggest a build for you soon, there are plenty of helpful people here. I am mainly a laptop user so would be no good on cases, mobos and stuff like that so prefer to leave it to someone with better knowledge.
