Hi everyone,
It's been a little while since I've posted something new here, but I'd like to have some ideas from you all about a SFF case that I'm starting to build.
I'll start by saying that things have changed a bit compared to 3.5 years ago when I first bought my PCS laptop. At that time...
I'd be more than interested, since I'm starting to build a SFF desktop now and the only parts that I have so far are the AIO and case. So, having fans would be a great addition.
I'm in Ireland, so would be open to paying for shipment, in case I'm the lucky winner.
It would be great if those games worked on a portable device like a phone or a steam deck. Regarding the latter, it might not be straight forward, but being Linux it should definitely be doable to run those old games on a DOS emulator or something :)
Hi all! Came across this website today and it lists 51 classic and indie games that are free on GOG's store. I know you could technically filter free games on the GOG store yourself, but it returns almost 500 games, so it's always nice to have a list of the possible best ones available...
Great choice of daily-driver, @AgentCooper . The DBX would be my missus favourite and def I wouldn't be opposed to driving that. But since we're talking about me.... :)
Car 1 must be your extravagant, money is no object modern vehicle.
Ferrari Roma
Car 2 must be an older or vintage...
Well, to me it just needs 4 things:
1- Room doesn't need to be pretty, but should have an acoustic isolation, so that I can use my mechanical keyboard without bothering the missus  . Doesn't need to be the anechoic chamber, but as silent as possible to the outside world.
2- Which takes...
Hi @ActuallyDenz , is Payday 2 still available? I got a Quest 2 VR headset as a perk from work, so looking for VR games to play for free (which is so hard to find, btw  )
That is reasonable, in my opinion. Your CPU is quite more powerful than your GPU, so it makes sense to tune it accordingly to your usage. I've done the same with mine, even though I don't have eco mode on my CPU and ended up using manual OC which worked amazing.
Thanks for sharing your results...
It's whatever I can see on the benchmark, which in this case is the max frequency difference compared to the stock run (either yours or someone else's with a similar build).
According to AIDA, it doesn't seem to be any problem with your RAM there, it's reporting a memory bus of 1569 (close to 1600), which then doubles as close to 3200Mhz. Your memory read speeds on the benchmark are also typical of 3200Mhz with high CAS (CL22). Regarding your 3dMark results on the...
Would you mind making the tests on the RAM benchmark thread (below) so that we could try to double-check your frequency? 3dMark usually reports the total frequency (not half), so might be worth having a look on other tools as well...
Let's start with the Rank explanation. Below is the best image that I could find to show what it means (taken from https://www.cgdirector.com/single-rank-vs-dual-rank-ram/):
So it means that dual-rank memory can output twice as many data (72b x 144b)? Not exactly, as the memory controller can...
Looking at it better now after a good night of sleep and a coffee :p , it looks to me that the basic difference between design 1 and design 2 is that the former has 2 2.5"slots and 4 M.2 slots (WLAN, SSD PCie, SSD SATA and 3G/4G), while the latter has 1 2.5" and 3 M.2 (WLAN, SSD PCIe...
Maybe PCS is offering the Samsung SSD as a replacement for your intel 600p?
Based on the model number you gave previously, I believe to have found the manual for it on Clevo's website: https://www.clevo.com.tw/en/e-services/download/USRManualOut.asp?model=P65xRP6
The manual is quite confusing...
Hey @Tron1982 , thanks a lot for sharing your results. Let's go to the explanations about how to interpret the data (I'll try my best to not be very technical here  ):
RAM performance cannot be measured by looking into one single data point, but the closest you can get to that is by...
