Sorry for jumping in late, but wanted to share my results too, since I have the same CPU.

Some things to note, for those who don't know my build:

NMS is an amazing game. I gave it a try a month after launch, asked for a refund straight away and then bought it back again after 3 years. Absolutely love it.
Starfield has so many things in common with NMS, but only the quests are far better (in NMS they're awful). Everything else is much...
I didn't have any payment forms saved, I always add card details only at the moment of purchase everywhere. Annoying yes, but a lot safer that way. For sure they would've used that or wallet credits if I had any.
What really bugs me is how could they access my account if I have steam guard on...
Hi guys, today I received about 45 emails from Steam Community Market saying that a bunch of my icons, backgrounds and trading cards were sold and then other items bought by me using that wallet credit. All happened in about 30 seconds or so, and sold/bought from several different users.
Has...
Not sure this is a problem with this case.. I went into Corsair's website and they say this case fits a 360mm AIO! There's even space for a 360mm and a 240mm together (in case you want to deshroud and water cooler the GPU as well). Of course, I did not check thoroughly to see if any of the 2...
Mostly good build, but I have one concern and 2 improvement suggestions:
Concern - Regards the CPU Cooler. Most tower air coolers usually perform much better than a 120mm AIO while also being cheaper, so either change to a DeepCool AK400 or, if you still prefer having an AIO water cooler...
Your build is very similar to this one:
https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/forums/threads/help-a-girl-out-d.96788/
So my advice to the OP there would also be applicable to you. But any questions about my recommendations for your needs, feel free to post here again ;)
A few comments about your build.. It is mostly good, however I can suggest 2 things:
1- Your choice of CPU is not the best value. If you're able to afford around $40 extra, I would jump to a newer gen 13700K. However, even better than that would be to use the 12700KF instead (same as your...
Can't say how it works with other bluetooth speakers, but with Google/Nest ones it's just a matter of telling it to pair a new bluetooth device, then pair it to your PC using windows bluetooth pairing (just like with any headphone) and it becomes your speaker. Simple as that.
Even the windows...
I use a Google Home Mini as the PC speaker. It's not great, but I'm usually on headphones anyway. But in case you have a Nest Audio or any other bigger Bluetooth speaker, could be an option as well. Wifi speakers (without bluetooth) could also be an option if they happen to have plugs for analog...
Just a few comments, all assuming you don't want to go above that budget of £750:
- The PSU is definitely overkill, but I if you want modular for some reason, then there is not cheaper option. But note that the case you selected is all metal (with no glass or acrylic), so a modular PSU wouldn't...
Sorry to resurrect a 1.5 year's old thread, but this software is just amazing and this detailed post was exactly what I was looking for, so had to say thanks! Not that I'm following it 100%, but it gave me a starting point :)
Mine is looking like this so far:
Decided not to override the...
Can't understand why people are so resistant to change, even when it's for the better. Yes, i lost some start bar customization options (like not being able to add it to the side instead of bottom), but windows 11 is (especially now) much better in every way. My opinion!
That is indeed my opinion.
You don't even have a dedicated GPU, so to me there's no point in getting that board because of the pcie 5 only.
I know that no gpu currently benefit from pcie 5, but they might in a year or so. However, you're paying today for the novelty factor that you don't even...
Didn't know about that limitation on ram quantity x speed, so good to know. Have never researched about such huge amounts of ram anyway 😅
Do you known if asus assures that the motherboard he chose accepts 96gb?
