Quick update - the computer is brilliant. You have to look to see if it's started because it's so quiet and W7 was already installed - all I did was personalise it. Thank you to Murtaza, James, and Anthony for doing their job well. And I am most happy to report the same for DPD. On time, polite and courteous, undamaged goods (the box had one or two signs of transit but so would I in the back of a van for 200 miles :tt2: ). Anyone thinking about PCS as a supplier for their new PC/laptop, I would come back again - and you can't get better than that.

I am in the process of fitting a Lightscribe cd, a GTX 660 gpu, a front fan, possibly a side fan, and a Cooler Master 3.5 front panel with 2 usb 3.0 ports for my Elite 311 case. Didn't know they did them!!

Im new to this site and have just placed my first order im just itching for it to arrive now!!. I Work for dpd as a driver so I can delivery my own parcel now :tt2:

Ill be on this site for a while now as im getting back into online gaming (wow head) as my last pc i built was back in 2003 and you can imagine wow isnt running that well on it.

oh and If anyone has any issues or question about prob with delivery's just let me know and i can answer your questions or try and look into them. But as most say the quality of a courier firm is with the driver.:winkiss: Im glad you like the 1 hour window its about 3 years old now, and the network hits over 99% of delivery within that time.

Just wanted to say another happy customer with DPD.

Driver turned up in the time slot when they stated they would and also were really helpful, even delivering the heavy parcel into the front room of my mum's house.

+1 to the driver, thanks DPD and thanks PCS :)

DPD guy called with my copy of Guild Wars 2 from amazon, exactly on time: said hes working tomorrow so he'll probably be back with my new machine :D

Forgot to post in here last week after the exxcitement of my Optimus finally arriving.

Had a text at 07:20 stating delivery between 18:14 and 19:14, a knock on my door at 18:48 a quick check of the packaging showed no damage whatsoever so I had my new lappy booted up and installing updates at 19:00.

top marks to dpd.

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I'm worried about my delivery. After being psyched that my computer was being shipped, I realised that it was being sent to an adress with only 2 line, namely the address and the city(Rome), without specifying a post code or a country? How does DPD handle these situations. I'm afraid the package won't make it to me on time unless I take action quickly. Thanks for any help

You can change your delivery details, check your email from DPD. If the package cannot be delivered it will be returned to PCS.

The sortation hub in birmingham will send the parcel to germany where all euro parcels get sorted they will check the address to make sure it goes to the right country/depot, then its down the the delivering depot/driver to get the full address you may wanna call dpd customer services on 0845 9 300 350

So it will probably get sent to germany and then get returned? I changed my address on the website as soon as i noticed there was an error within it, and I contacted tech support. I also queued up for live chat, but got no answers for the past hour. Shall I directly contact DPD or let PCS handle it?

Well what can i say just returned my pc to have a replacment P.S.U and i just had a E-mail to say that my pc case and motherboard has been damaged in transit. Well gutted. I hate couriers.
I was going to order a new £5000 pc but i might have to rethink about that.

P.S The motherboard is three years old (socket 1366) I doubt they will find another one of those. And the case is no longer avaliable. Not sure what to do?. It nearly reduced me to tears the pc cost me £2600.

P.S Yes my pc is on it's way back to me. Hope DPD treat it with care.

PC delivered in perfect condition thanks DPD.

Just like to say thank you for DPD for delivering my PC. I wasn't home at the time but I was emailed as soon as PCS sent it to DPD, emailed and texted when DPD received it, emailed and texted in the morning saying it was on a van and that it would arrive between 9:23am to 10:23am. Was given plenty of options to change the day if this wasn't suitable but it was fine by me. I went to work, tracked it online and it was delivery at 10:36. Rang my brother and he said it was fine and it had all arrived. Perfect condition and service!

That's great Grimezy. I had a similar experience and haven't looked back. It's sitting next to me on my desk. All I can hear is a quiet ssssssssssss. Mind you, I ain't a gamer yet so I doubt it's been put under any pressure. But it zooms through 22mb raw files in Lightroom, and video editing is massively faster than my old puter (wish I had kept timings).
