HI @FilStr, these are PCSpecialists's English forums, so your messages need to be kept in English if you want to post here.
There are the Italian forums here though https://www.pcspecialist.it/ if you wish to write in Italian :)
From Google translate:
Ciao @FilStr, questi sono i forum inglesi...
You wont have been provided with one if that's what you mean :)
However all you need is an 8GB USB stick and follow the instructions here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10 to create installation media on the USB (if you have anything on the USB stick already that you...
However even though it will get hot and various things could've been changed before ordering in the first place - it should just throttle, it shouldn't be overheating on bootup - it would suggest something is actually wrong rather than just different cooling solutions - even though different...
Hmmm, this is the strange bit:
Something has gone a bit funny here (my paged pool is 621MB).
Hopefully someone can shed some light as to what's happened here
Would help if you would show that whole window rather than just the total, and order it by memory usage so we can see what is using said memory.
Edit: oops, Scott beat me to that comment by a few seconds :)
I suspect the update you did about a week ago probably "updated" it from your old version to the new Microsoft 365 version of office - or you were just on a Office 365 trial instead of the 'keyed' version and said trial has now run out
If you check your PCS account it may well have the key to...
Yeah this very much looks like the problem that was in the thread I linked where in the end a full clean reinstall was needed (just as Spydertracks said above)
I remember hearing about this problem a while back, I think there was a problem with the images being used for the installs for a bit (cant remember the timeframe though).
I believe a Windows clean install fixes it - though obviously this would mean you'd have to save anything important...
If you have already received it then generally any changes/upgrades through them need to be done through the upgrade system (where you can send it in (for a fee) or add the new component yourself) and they do not do case changes through the upgrade system as it would involve taking the whole...
Were there any beeps when you started up the PC, if so how many and were they long or short beeps and in what order (eg. 1 long followed by 3 beeps is one example it could be) - if its more than one beep then its an error code and it can help point in the right direction for troubleshooting
A. No, it wont affect you place in the build queue, there are circumstances where changes require you to cancel and re-order, but changing the PSU and/or cooler would not require that so you'd still be where you were in the queue
B. I'd definitely want higher than the 650W for the 3070Ti...
The kernel power 41 error just tells you it didn't shut down properly before it was restarted (ie. it crashed), in other words that error is just the after effects of the issue, it doesn't actually tell you anything specific
You would need to see what happened before that, if anything shows
I was just talking to one of my work mates, apparently she had a trampoline land in her garden on friday, and had to go rescue a neighbours wheelie bin - she now however suspects that sorting out the trampoline is why she's now done her back in :(
We don't have wheelie bins (except garden waste...
I know its quite windy here again (Berkshire) - least my kitchen window is still making a lot of noise, and I know earlier this evening my lights flickered a few times, that was a good few hours ago now though.
If you look in the warranty section of the T&Cs they say will replace it with the same model/version (eg 6800XT in this case) of graphics card, but not always the same manufacturer, so yes this can happen
