Since these forums belong to PCSpecialist, I'm afraid we cannot help with self-builds or competitor builds
You may find somewhere like the Toms Hardware website useful though
Or is this upgrades to a PCS machine you do have?
Its probably worth using speedtest to check the speeds/ping on the PC when he's having said problems - he can use the https://www.speedtest.net/ site to check speeds
Would be worth checking the same thing on his phone at the same time in about the same place as the PC and compare results and see...
As mentioned in the original post, you may need to talk to PCS where they can send the relevant stuff so you can properly link it to your account.
But yeah as said, for digital licenses that are not for Windows you are expected to download and install yourself (means its not tied to that...
Office 365 is not Office 2019, there are completely different licenses, it looks like you've got Office 365 on there not 2019, and you are indeed not licensed for Microsoft 365, you are licensed for 2019, as you say
There should be a download option somewhere for 2019 afaik - have you looked in...
Do note, since late 24th it's now on the 6th working day, not 9th, there have been 3 bank holidays in that time :) (if the site tells you it's been 9, its gotten slightly confused about said bank holidays lol)
If its only been ordered very recently, it's more than likely still just in the queue to be built anyway, but yes, sooner rather than later :)
And don't worry, many people seem to change their specs during the pre-production step :)
I'm not very good at speccing up machines to be honest - I was just helping things move along :)
Steveyg's build(s) will be good and be nicely balanced :)
It would be useful if you can let us know your budget for the machine and what it'll be being used for - eg if for games, if you know which games that'd help as well.
And whilst it will work, there are probably a number of changes that should be made for example that GPU in that case is going to...
I didn't think the fast-track option was actually available at the mo for anything - though its possible it is for some laptops, but the fastest fast track is 3 working days dispatch - was that available for the laptop you ordered and which fast-track did you order if you did so?
Currently its...
Have you tried reseating the graphics card as well, maybe it became slightly loose in transit but not quite loose enough to not work but now a slight nudge/knock or something may have moved it enough so it doesn't think its plugged in properly
If it boots fine with your old RAM (at the correct speed) but doesn't when you replace it with the new RAM, it kinda suggests there is an issue with the new RAM.
I suggest trying it with just one stick of the new RAM (on its own), and see if its fine, then try with other new one just on its...
It will be set to use the graphics card, thus the reason why you need to use the ports on the graphics port, otherwise you just wont get any signal
Edit: I type too slowly again lol (admittedly it would've been faster if I didn't have so many typos to fix)
And whilst the PCS SPECTRUM RGB MID TOWER CASE is a good budget case, it is a budget case, you really would want one with better airflow for a build including high end components (eg the one Steveg suggested, there are other similar ones as well)
I would wait to see what other specs people come up with , this latest spec of yours would also need multiple changes to balanced I'm afraid (no way you'd need 64GB of RAM for a start) - just try and be a little patient, people will help but you do have to give them time to think :)
Was this a next day delivery system or one you configured yourself
If it is not a next-day delivery machine, then no you are about 11 days late to guarantee Christmas delivery - in fact it tells you you wont get it before Christmas on the configuration page
Normally they will be Palit, Zotac or Gigabyte - however no-one of these are guaranteed, there has been the odd sighting of other brands I believe
Edit, just beaten to the post lol
