Let PCS know, they will send a replacement - though if your manager ordered it they will have to contact PCS about it rather than you
I know various ASUS motherboards do this as well, if it is the same thing there is absolutely nothing wrong with the motherboard - it is a "feature" (an annoying...
Yes, yes, prices have gone completely nuts :(
As Steaky says we cant provide any suggestions except for PCSpecialist builds here but you could always give PCSpecialist a call and ask if they can do anything for you with your RAID-1 requirements in a laptop.
What sort of games was your friend hoping to play and at with what sort of monitor (ie resolution and refresh rate or make/model)?
Do note though that due to the current costs of PC components, £1000 will just not get you a "good" PC unfortunately :(
A few people may be able to spec something...

I remember hearing about this problem a while back, I think there was a problem with the images being used for the installs for a bit (cant remember the timeframe though).
I believe a Windows clean install fixes it - though obviously this would mean you'd have to save anything important...
If you have already received it then generally any changes/upgrades through them need to be done through the upgrade system (where you can send it in (for a fee) or add the new component yourself) and they do not do case changes through the upgrade system as it would involve taking the whole...
